About Us

Our story began in 2010 when my youngest daughter was born. I knew from the beginning that for my second child I want to use the modern cloth diapers. After researching different options on the Web I bought about 20 US factory-made diapers. A little later I discovered that you can buy handmade diapers made by the Work-At-Home-Moms that are fun, Eco-friendly and very often more reliable than the factory-made cloth diapers. I have acquired quite a collection of modern cloth diapers made by WAHMs.

Soon after I began experimenting with fabrics and sewing techniques myself, and after perfecting my skills for two years I was ready to show the world what I have learned.

I always loved handmade products both for gifts and our own everyday life. Now, I was a part this community, offering baby and children's products that are handmade by me from start to finish. My little company was officially launched in January 2012. I was mostly selling on Etsy. Now that my daughter is potty trained I mostly make children's clothing. I especially like to work with organic and Euro designer cotton lycra jersey. My fabric print choices are usually either quirky and playful, or modern, classic and timeless depending on the mood I am in. Today, at Blueberry Woods Baby, we strive to create unique handmade clothing for children in high quality knit fabrics. Most of our fabrics are either certified organics or GOTS which is a European standard for fabrics produced without harmful substances. We gravitate to the hand drawn designs created by the talented European fabric designers. <3
